I think what you're doing with your daughter is totally awesome. I was raised by my grandparents and my grandad and I were inseperable. We hunted every year after I turned five and trapped all winter. I learned to track, hunt and butcher game as well as prepare it. The times I spent with my granddad are priceless to me today. I lost him in '83 to cancer, but we were able to have one last hunt together before he passed in April. Your daughter will feel the same about the time you've spent with her. Also, the training you have given her will ensure that she never has to go without. I know my skills have helped us out of a crunch several times. I still hunt every chance I get. We do culls on game ranches and cattle ranches. We have a huge hog problem here and ranchers want these hogs shot. The extra meat is donated to charity. My ultimate dream is to kill a bull elk. I've wanted a set of elk horns for my living room, but the elk are far from here. One day.........Be careful and stay safe!

Hi Dwayne, I saw your pics on your page. So you're a hunter. So am I. Big time. I live for hunting season. South Tex doesn't have much more than whitetails and an overabundance of hogs, but they're fun to hunt. I have always enjoyed getting away from work and getting into the solitude. What kind of hunting do you do?
