Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When I was a little kid I saw a bad vehicle accident in which all the by-standers were just standing there doing nothing for the victim. I said that one day I would learn how to help people so that would never happen again. 30 years later and 14 years into my job as a firefighter, i'm still making sure that doesn't happen.... one patient at a time.
