- About Me:
- I work with the Thomasville Fire Department Full-time now for about 8 years.We have 4 stations and 64 personnel. We work 24 on then off 24 after the third day we get 4 days off.I also work for a volunteer department Pilot Fire Dept. have been with them now for 7 years as a paid daytime personnel.I also Volunteer with Hasty Fire Department have been with them for 22 years and have held the rank of ems captain.After finding out I had Cancer I gave it up.Dropped back to Firefighter. December 18 2007 I was told I had cancer.Feb 20 2008 had surgery and then started radiation and chemo.Oct 31 2008 finished everything.Jan 2 2009 went back to work lite duty and hope to be back full duty soon.As of Feb 7, 2009 I am back to full duty and driving my ladder truck and new shift Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts.
