I was pretty nervous about the responsibillity that this holds but I have found the support from my department and the blogs and discussions very helpfull with building confidence for the trainings and real life situations.

- The smile in a childs eyes when you hand them their anxious pet, the smile on a couples face when they see their wedding pictures made it out too... It doesn't get any better than this!!!!

- The cost of equipment, both personal and apperatous, is outragous. The fact that 70% of Americas firefighters are volunteer. The price of fuel. The cutting of ems positions and or wages due to the countries need to compensate for the greed on wall street.
