First started my career with the Cut Off Volunteer Fire Dept. in 1985. Left that department in 1997 as Asst Chief and moved to another city. Joined the Larose Volunteer Fire Dept. where i served as Fire Chief for the last 7 years. Joined the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department 1 year ago.
My Training:
Certified L.S.U. Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Firefighter III, Haz-Mat Awarness, Haz-Mat Operations, E.T.S. Certified Haz-Mat Technician. V.F.I.S. Emergency Vehicle Driving Instructor. Training at L.S.U. in Rapid Intervention Team.
About Me:
Just retired my E.M.T.-Basic after 14 years of E.M.S. service. Joined a local vol. fire dept. at age 16, worked my way up the ranks. Joined my present dept. in 1996, became the fire chief in 1999.
