Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up in a family filled w/ police officers and decided that by joining the Fire/EMS Dept. was the closest way to work w/ the public by not becoming a police officer. Also I saw how close our home town dept. was, like another family, and wanted to become a part of it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The fact that I can save someone's life and also the brother & sister hood.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think the politics in EMS are getting out of control. What ever happened to help the helpless? Now we have to worry about getting sued!!

    Maternity gear huh? Think you'll still be able to get up into the pumper or even into the Screaming Eagle? LOL. There's always a bungee cord to hold them pants together....lol Wait....you can be IC and stand on top of the truck and freeze your butt off.... always looking out for you-that's why we're partners eh? ttyl
