I am married with 5 children. I work full- time as a nurse. My husband is the Lieutenent for my department. We have two of our children interested in joining a department when they get 16.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have been amazed by the ability to save lives and human compassion since I was a child. I started working in the healthcare field when I was 15 years old. And I am now proud to be not only a firefighter but a nurse.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Because even thou we may not recieve money for the job we choose to do, it is the most rewarding. It is truely the toughest job you will ever love.
