Well, I got my new job working for Subway. I just have to give my 2 week notice tomorrow. I am sort of scared but excited also. I am going no where at the McDonalds I work for ...But then again you have to know this place, it is really not good, at least not for me. As for Subway, well I got my pay I was asking for, it is like only 2 to 5 minutes from my home, I am going to work at 2 stores and learn all I can, I will be working different shifts with possiblility of going into management and… Continue

At my home away from home LOL.

I am now at Starbucks just relaxing with my chi tea and playing on the computer for a while. Had to go to the doctors for a checkup and thought I would just keep the day off and try to relax. So far so good. I really like reading a lot on here and thinking of my sons as firemen. Thank you all for being who you are. I have met some nice people on this site. Thanks for getting this website started.

Just me....

Wow I have not done a blog in a while. I am home now and trying to relax before bed but I am wired. I think I might have a new job. I will find out tomorrow. I am just going to go for now. I am just rambling on, lol, typical blonde.

Sharon, Oh man those Lady Locks sound so yummy. If you would be so kind to share the recipe I will get to try some myself. my e-mail is theladd@hotmail.com
might be better to send it there. Looking out today and seeing it is a gorgeous day. Thinking I am going to take my sweety for a ride on the bike. Been wanting to ride up 101 north to Port Orford where my mother is buried. She has never been there to see the spot. Brookings is the last town on the Oregon coast before the California border. Our weather here is somewhat like California. They call it the Banana Belt. Average temp is 60 year round. Of course we get our wind storms and rain but sunshine is always in order. Have a reat day. I look forward to your recipe.

Lady locks? they sound scrumptious. Have to get your secret recipe. Since I was gone all last week and had a preparedness fair today I am exhausted tonight. Have a week at home then out for another 5 days for our State Chiefs convention. My wife is getting to come with me on this one. so that will be good. Sounds like you spoil your hubby. Yup, thats totally awesome! My wife does the same. Couldnt find anyone who cares and takes care of me any better. We lost each other for 10 years. I am thankful that God brought us back together again. I will be thankful for the rest of my life.

Sharon, thanks for the comments about my babies. My wife is wishing they were closer. My Daughter lives in Soldotna Alaska. Way to far away for GrandMa. I wasnt on last night as I was just way too tired. When we came home tonight my wife and I went to the beach and just sat and talked until the sun went down. Was really nice watching the sunset and then shadows dancing. Just sat there talking and enjoying our coffee. Good times. Have a great evening.

Sharon, welcome to the Nation to another Oregon Ladd. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
