Worked with the United States Forest Service during the Summer of 2007 for North Zone, Bearlodge Crew 1. I will be returning for the Summer 2008.
My Training:
I am South Dakota Firefighter Certified, S-130 and S-190 Red Carded, ICS/NIMS 100, 200, and 700, Basic Emergency Care Certified, S-134, S-211, S-212, and L-180. Certified in Advanced SCBA, Car Fires, and Liquified Petroleum Fires. I am currently seeking my Associates Degree in Fire Science at Casper College.
About Me:
I'm 19 years old and I have been involved with firefighting for more than two years. I have been with the SVFD for a year and a half and just joined Evansville Emergency Services 4 months ago. I plan to join a paid fire department as soon as the opportunity arises! I worked for the Forest Service last summer on a Crew 1 stationed in Sundance, Wyoming and will be returning this summer! I'm currently going to school at Casper College in pursuit of my Associates Degree in Fire Science.

Really, I can't explain the reason why, I just do what I love and love doing it! It's that unexplainable feeling and desire.

being able to help people and be a role model to all the kids!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The attitude of the people of the world. They will do anything to get money and cause many problems that shouldn't even be considered. But you can't let these people and other problems get to you, you just have to go on the side of caution and do the right thing and everyone knows what it is. You may still be cornered and your actions questioned, but it will all work out in the end.
