Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Hi I'm Chad. I'm 18 and am currently attending college in NY. I became part of the emergency services because I've always wanted to do something useful with my life and I decided at a young age that I would be willing to risk my life to help others. I'm scene support now, by I will be certified interior in a couple months.

Me in a nutshell: Caring beyond belief when it comes to the wellfare of my friends. I'm kind of old-fashioned...I practice chivalry and the like and I tend to be a quixotic dorky romantic. Basically I'm the kind of guy who is willing to show emotion and would be just as content seeing a movie as laying on the grass checking out the stars. So yeah if you know a girl who might be interested in a guy like me please let me know!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
that it allows me to finally do something worthwhile and meaningful in my life.

    well thank you. sounds like you have a full load in college. iam takeing my pre req to get my paramedic. thats what i really want to do. i want to be a paramedic/firefighter. math is a hard subject for me though, and of course you need math to be a paramedic lol.

    Hey Chad,
    Hope you don't mind me contacting you through FFN. Fortunately this is the best way to connect with other Firefighters and it's been instrumental in allowing me to introduce an opportunity. I have been with the FDNY for close to 22 years now and worked many odd jobs to make a better life for my family.
