About Me:
Serves as a fully trained member of a firefighting crew certified as a DoD firefighter full performance level. Respond to alarms and combats fire requiring the performance of firefighting tasks of complex difficulty involving facilities, shops, warehouses, fuel and explosive storage areas, brush and wooded areas, vehicles and a variety of other structures and facilities. Perform firefighting and crash-rescue involving Large frame aircraft and helicopters. Alternates as hoseman, ladderman, hydrantman, or rescueman on a crew. Operates hose lines, makes forced entries, ventilates structures, performs or assists in rescue operations, and performs salvage and overhaul using a variety of power/manual hand tools and portable fire extinguishers. Serves as a Driver/Operator.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
After 12 years of Military Service, needed to continue to serve and working for the Dept. of Defense as a firefighter/emt is the best of both worlds, still around the Army but defending a different customer, protecting those who defend America.
