Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Enjoyed volunteering my time for different things, but when I came across a PR event for the search and rescue K9 unit, I knew it was perfect for me. I hiked, backpacked and camped by myself and my dogs. Here was the opportunity for me to do what I loved, with people that did the same and there was a purpose as well.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The ultimate purpose of saving lives or bringing closure. The bond between my K9 partner and the bond within the team(s).

    Hey Margaret, love the pics of the dog. Always wanted to do that, but never got around to it. Just fighting fires takes up the time. I have now started my U.S.A.R. training with the collasped rescue and boy is that tough!! Well good luck to you and your dogs, God speed!!:}P
