Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My grandfathers were both volunteer firefighters. I always was interested in the fire service and when I was able to, I joined my local volunteer fire department. When I had the opportunity to test for a career department, I took the test, and was hired.

    Yes I believe that we were standing next to each other. I had to step off the line due to food poisoning. Went up to med rig, got checked out and waited until it passed. Was back later to be on the line for the procession to the cemetary.
