I love my job to relax I skydive, scubadive, ride my dirtbike yes I like adrenaline on the side besides firefighting.

If knowing a Gay firefighter bothers you than I am not the person to talk to.

LATEST NEWS- I GOT THE IT :) assistant chief of training position with a North Florida FD. I am on my second interview and things kind of look good. If I get the position relocation assistance is offered, take home vehicle, etc. I did not find the job, the job found me. I will miss Fort Myers Florida but oh well life goes on and I will be closer the Jennings motorsport sportbike track, it is a long drive to trailer my biker up there for wknd track rides. HAVING YOUR FOUR YEAR DEGREE REALLY REALLY REALLY CANT STRESS REALLY PAYS OFF IN THE END.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Father was a FF, Uncles were FF's I joined the Army out of high school and decided to become a Firefighter on my own.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The challenge, The family,
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Too many damm firefighter fatalities while responding to the call or returning to quarters- WEAR YOUR FRIGGIN SEAT BELT AND DON'T DRIVE LIKE A MANIAC. Yes we all want to be first on scene to the big one but killing your self to get there 15 seconds before the other unit is Stupid. Not wearing your seat belt because it takes an extra 5 seconds to get out of the truck is Stupid. Use your brain after all we are here to serve the community and you can't do that when your dead.
