I have worked on BLS Engines, ALS Transport units, and I am currently in my 3rd year in the training division. I enjoy training, but I miss the field and the patients (really).

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I felt the need to help others.. I had been employed in other areas of the medical field and I was not happy. I also have this horrible nuturing instinct.

the job, the people, the citizens
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Increase in the public utilization of Fire/EMS as primary care provider for their medical needs, both emergent and non-emergent. Thus taxing resources.

    Thanks for the add. I did my npq 1 down the academy with a guy from douglas county. Can't for the life of me remember his name. i do remember a red dodgepick up with douglas fire on the side. Keep in touch most of all be safe.
