Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Well its really in my blood. I actually had wanted to be a police officer so I was preparing my life for that and thought I could ride with my step dad on a fire truck and spend more time with him so i joined WSFD explorers not knowing I couldnt ride with family. My dad set me up to ride at our downtown station on Truck 1 with Capt. Bottoms and the first call was a reported house fire which was at 7:15am and I soon fell in love.

Now, that is my career path and will be going and startin my certifications and degrees up there
