About Me:
I moved to Laurel while still in the Army and totally lucked out in joining the LVFD. I've been a line officer for over five years and am currently a live-in member. I've been EXTREMELY fortunate to also be a hands-on instructor at both Firehouse Expo and FDIC, teaching "Calling the MAYDAY!", with Dr Burt Clark.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I've been interested in firefighting since I was a kid. Emergency! had a lot to do with my interest as well.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
No two days are ever the same and not everyone can do what I do.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Seatbelt use on apparatus, funding/ providing ALL departments with the equipment and training to do the job SAFELY and continuing to change the MAYDAY mindset of firefighters.
