About Me:
I have been a firefighter now for about 6 years. I work currently for the CIty of Beaufort Fire Dept. in SC. The weather is nice and the beaches are nicer. I have also found an awesome new hobby of saltwater fishing which is great. Even with all that though I would still like to eventually get a job and move back to my hometown or somewhere close to be with friends and family again. But until then I will just enjoy this life while I can.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Life-long career choice. My Grandfather was the Asst. Chief of the city that I grew up in, and he pretty much started training me when I could understand. Not only that, but I love the job. Especially when it is normally something different every shift, and I get to help people.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Doing the best that I can to make sure others are safe.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I know that staffing is becoming a problem, mainly due to funds. But I feel that money shouldnt be an issue when it comes the the safety of crews all over.
