About Me:

I joined the fire company in 2000 as a jr ff. I had grown up in the fire and ems service my whole life. My mom was a volunteer Paramedic and my father still is a paid part time EMT and volunteer FF. My grandfather on my dad's side was also a FF. I have a lot of family history of the fire service on my mom's side including a few cousins and an uncle. Not to mention it's where I met my wonderful husband!

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Safty for starters. Everyday we are finding new ways to make what we do safer. Like remembering to wear your bunker pant while packing 5 inch cause you might back into the lights that light up the tailboard and burn the back of your leg. (Yeah it happened like a month ago)
Funding is another huge issue. You can't get around that one.
