Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I was raised around it, and it just seemed natural to join after getting out of the Army, I actually started off on the volunteer ambulance in my area at the age of 16, then went into the Army after graduating from high school. The Fire Department has been in my backyard for 33 years (literally).

Helping those who are in need when they can't help themselves.
