About Me:: I began my career as a volunteer with my hometown department of Cowpens. I acquired a job with the Mauldin FD at age 20. It was my only Fire Department Employment Fulltime until I accepted the Fire Chief's position for the City of Woodruff.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Third generation firefighter. It has just seemed to always have been part of my life. I get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping others.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: The satisfaction of helping others.
Top Issues Facing Responders:: The co-existance of the Fire/EMS agencies. This is a tool for fire departments to utilize to increase manpower. Although I am not much into the medical side of the job I understand it is part of our future.
