Do me a favor google my name (Patrick Conrey). Last Spring I attended a Line of duty death seminar. The Victim Cincinnati Firefighter Oscar Armstrong III died from a flashover while fighting a residential structure. Three minutes and 55 seconds after the air brake of the engine he was riding on was pulled he was burn beyond recognition. He left behind a fiancee, two son's and an unborn daughter on the way. After hearing this guys story I felt the need to HONOR this guys some how! Being a marathon runner and a firefighter this is what I came up with last year. I will run the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon in Bunker gear (helmet, jacket, pants, air pack and running shoes). All 26.2 miles. All money raised will go to the children of FF Oscar Armstrong III. Please just pass it on! On know Pete (not well but know him) what I like about him is he tells it how he sees it, good, bad or indifferent!!! I'm not a big fan of Pettay's, I have known him for along time!
