Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Been around the fire service for my whole life. I joined as a sophomore in high school and its been a wild ride ever since. No longer searching for that elusive career firefighter spot. Recently got on as a Firefighter/EMT-B at the Naval Base nearby....FINALLY. Regardless of if I'm a volunteer or career, its the greatest job on earth and I wouldnt have it any other way.
