Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I guess you could say it is a family thing.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The little hand that reaches up to me and just the touch says help me stop crying, the elderly that reaches out and says help me on my way , and the hand of those everyday that reach out and say Thanks for all the help
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The obstacles faced by Volunteers today to maintain the appropriate level of training and still have a life with their families. That the level of care that the community has come to expect is not undermined by the politics of others that don't care.

Thanks! I begin recruit school on Monday, and can't wait! :) I have a lot to learn!

Thank you! I truly appreciate that :) One thing I like about my recruit class is that one guy made a comment that "We're all in this together, we need to help each other, it's not a competition, we all got the job, we all need to succeed." Or something along those lines. Everyone nodded in agreement. Good bunch! :)
