About Me:
Been doing this for about 14 years now and I have seen many changes from the days of the OBA in the federal service to new MSA TIC. I can be old school when it comes to running a house, however when it comes to fighting fire I'm very new school about it. I have seen on the fire ground to many time the old school go wrong. I also teach reading smoke and building construction.

Why I Love Fire/EMS
When you have a kid in closet scared and they look up and see you threw the smoke and heat. The look on the face is worth more then any amount of money.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of certification laws in states. There needs to be a federal certification for all firefighters to meet. Until this happens you will keep on recking up the death toll. There is also an issue with officers that do not know what they are doing in the Volli houses. They get elected by popular vote not the fact the know how to be a officer.
