I retired two years ago and I am now a special consultant with Lemartec Engineering and Construction which is specializing in the design and construction of fire rescue facilities.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I was asked by the former Fire Chief Dave Paulison, to initiate a major capital construction program for the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Although I was a "civilian" with the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department, all "uniform" trated me like a "Brother" and I experience the real life of a firefighter/paramedic.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
A facility that is safe, confortable, easy to maintain and practical to use. Remember that a fire station is "Home away from Home".

Thank you, Chief. I've been busy for the past twenty years with the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department; however, the level of entusiasm that I am in the private sector triyng to help my fellow FF is even greater. You will hear from me a lot in the next few years, and I hope to personally meet you one day. Thanks again.
