Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I always wanted to be a policeman, fireman or cowboy when I was growing up and as I got older found out that there wasn't much of a need for cowboys in the city. So I became a cop first for 2 years then saw the light and enter the fire service and haven't had a day of regret since.
My uncle was is a retired fireman and I have a son and nephew on the job in N.O.
