Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I do the job to help people. my company is 100% vol so i dont get paid to go on the 3 in the morning afa but i do it b/c i love to help people i want to be there when someone in my community is in trouble i want to save lives that maybe couldnt be saved before and its all worth it in the end if you just get a THANK YOU at the end of a call.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the reward you get when someone says thank you to you after a call
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The lack of vol and the amount of people in the fire dept and the lack of money for vol dept to get new equipment and better training.
