I also worked as an EMT-P at Rural Metro Buffalo( LaSalle Ambulance) as well as Mercy Flight of WNY as both a second crew member and Flight Paramedic. I have held positions as EMS Lt, Secretary and Firematic Captain. I am also a member of the Niagara County Technical Rescue Team as well as a member of The Niagara County Origin and Cause Team( area 4)

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Family tradition. My father was an Asst Chief in Lewiston, NY. We actually had a fire phone in our home. My cousin was the first female fire fighter in the city of Niagara Falls NY, My sister was a volunteer. Two of my neices volunteer and another works for Boston EMS. Both my brother in laws are invloved in the fire service as well.

    I am very sorry to hear that you department had a member got killed on Memorial Day.

    I am involved with the National Fallen Firefighters Everyone Goes Home program in Maryland. I highely encourage all fire fighters to attend the National Fallen Firefighters Ceremoney in Emmitsburg sometime.
