Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I started my fire/ems career as a Volunteer in Suffolk, Va. I obtained my fire certs as a volunteer, also my EMT. I took my EMT cert and started working in EMS transport, working my way on to the critical care transport team. I left transport EMS to take my current job. I am now a Federal Firefighter, i work at a air base so I have structural, ems, and crash responses now.
