I and currently the captain of The Town of Liberty Volunteer Ambulance Corp. I have held that position for the last five years. I was a junior LT for too years prior to being elected Captain. Our service is comprised of both ALS and BLS. WE run 7 trucks. 4 type three ambulances and 3 ALS fly car's. I'm also a third generation Emt

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

because i'ts more or less a family tradition and i enjoy it

being able to know you made adifference in some one's life when they were in need

Top Issues Facing Responders:

the declining economy has forced the pool of volunteer help to have to work 2 and 3 jobs just to stay afloat, leaving them no time to help the EMS and fire volunteer agencies
