i am a fairly new firefighter and looking forward to moving up in my time. I have a quarter horse farm and spend alot of time doing that. i am also a big Jimmy Buffett fan and am an avid scuba diver.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the service so i may help my communities by providing quality services. I found that i was a pretty good emt and then got on a great paying fire/ems agency.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
its a stable, satisfying, and rewarding career.

    Steve, being a FF at the Air Force Base....are you a member of the Armed Forces or is the Fire Service at the base seperate? I only ask becasue in Canada we have Military Firefighters but some of the bases have opted to go private with thier Fire Services...not many, but a few (not that that makes the job any different) Just curious... Be Safe.
