About Me:

I live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone. I have been married for 20 years and my husband is also a firefighter with our local vollunteer fire department. I have two wounderful boys. My oldest is with the local fire department and my youngest can't wait to join. I enjoy helping the community where I live and I am proud of what I have accomplished to get to where I am now.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire/EMS to help the people in my community. I live in a very rural area of Missouri and alot of the Firefighters and at work during the day. I am one of the few women on our department and I am very proud of the work I do. I became an EMT two years ago when I noticed a sortage of EMS workers in my area. I enjoy helping people and my children are very proud to see their mom in a field that does so much good.
