About Me:

I have been with Spearfish Since I turned 18 and I am now going on 20. I run mainly out of Station II on the East Side of town. I am assigned to Engine 3, Brush 7, Tender 9, and Rescue 6. We have a seperate Ambulance Service in Spearfish, however I am going to school right now for fire science and will be getting my EMT. I do occasionally run out of Station I but it is only like I said on occasion.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I enjoy helping people and the overall Satisfaction I get from being a major part of the community.

Being there for people when they need you and the addrenaline rush that comes with it.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

New technology and less people in the services excepting that times are changing and we all as a group need to go from old ways into the new ways in order to be safe.
