Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Job Security...and a love for Mud, Blood, Beer...not my own though.
I'm one of those who always wanted to be a fireman. I learned EMS as a Boy Scout when a buddy of mine at camp, chopped a nice hole in his foot with an axe. I was sold on EMS from then.
