About Me:
32 yrs old, grew up in a emergency services family, 1 younger brother, joined fd as a junior ff , after highschool, moved to Alamance, and joined Elon FD, to attend GTCC's fire science program, Got my first paid job at Hillsbough FD in Orange Co. later was hired by Parkwood FD as a FF/ Paramedic, moved up through the ranks to become a Lieutenant ( 3yrs ago ). I'm married for 12 yrs, and now have two children (b/g).

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Family tradition, both of my grandfathers were Asst. Chiefs, my father was a ff, and my mother is a paramedic. Both my younger brother and myself are paramedics, but he doen't do fire.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
of the tradition and brotherhood that comes with the job

    I wish I worked at the St. Andrew's you speak of. No, I work for St. Andy's in Charleston South Carolina. My ancestors are Scotch-Irish from Scottish lowlands. Our fire department is named after the St. Andrew's in Scotland as well.
