Why I Joined Fire/EMS: My Calling©
To be honest, I chose this profession because I want to help others in their worst moments, real or imagined.

I did not choose it for the glory (what's that), the fame (keep my name out of the papers), the money (not much of that).

I didn't chose this for a "pat on the back", or to be cussed out, or to be called an "angel".

I just want to do everything in my power to ensure that you (John Q, Citizen) will survive, be ok for your family, even if it costs me my own life.

I am the future of Emergency Medicine, at it's finest.
