About Me:
I am a volunteer that works for the City of Cape Town Disaster Risk Management, we work along side the local Fire Departments in our local areas. We do shifts on the Fire and Rescue Vehicles. I have been an active member from the age of 14/15. I have recently been promoted to Coordinator of Fire and Rescue for the milnerton devision. I also work actively as a Safety Manager.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up in the fire services with a grandfather who was the Chief and a dad and his twin who was also high ranking officers. I believe its the family tradition and the feeling of commitment to saving lives that has driven me in the line of fire.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Its creates a feeling of achieving more in life.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Reckless behaviour of fellow crew members, lack of training, lack of brotherhood in todays fire service.
