Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Joined dept. in Aug. 1969 after graduation from high school after being handed an application. I lived behind the firehouse and would run down and open the doors and make brush fire runs. They would be short during the days and I would start making structure runs and they told me, if I was going to do that , I would need to fill out the applications and that was 42 years ago.
