Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have been fascinated with the field of EMS since I was young. After graduating college, I finally had time to devote to becoming an EMT. It is the best decision I have ever made. I wanted to become one to help those in need in my community and to give back.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love EMS for the relief we give people when we can help them, for the lives we may save, for the babies we may bring into this world, for all of the experiences I learn from that make me stronger, for being there when people need you the most and the satisfaction of knowing you may have helped make their lives better with your treatment and ability to get them to further medical help. It is very rewarding in so many ways.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
*Lack of adequately trained personnel
*Slow response times
*Inaccessible locations
*Weather issues
