About Me:
Happily married father of three.
I love the fire service and should have tried for it earlier in my career. I love sports and vacations. The guys I work with and volunteer with are my 2nd family and I am proud to serve with them on the "front lines".
Day Job:
Father, career and volunteer ff.
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Permanently laid off from the street department. I have always thought about it and the layoff gave me a push in the right direction!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The adrenaline rush of fire blowing out of a structure and then going into it.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Dangerous situations: IDLH atmosphere's, ff mayday situations, rubbernecking idiot drivers who snap pics at fire scenes while yapping on their cells phones. Face it--we love this job because we sure as hell do not get paid enough for it!
