Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When I was young...most of the adults worked. You started as a Vol in PA at 16. I later received both a BS and MS in Criminal Justice and worked in a Public Safety Department where you took a call - you did it all.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It is what I am...my Career has been good to me
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Quality Gear - all departments. The rural firefighters sometimes get shafted.
Train - Train - Train - The more you sweat now the less you bleed later
