There are a whole slew of other certs and trainings that I have obtained, but my college degree is the one I feel I am working the hardest for. I firmly believe that to succeed in our field you need to have an equal balance of education and experience. Not one or the other.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: After joining the volunteer department, I fell in love with the environment of the fire service and wanted to make a career of it.
