Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I have Hyperadrenergic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. I used to be a frequent flyer in the EMS system. When I was, the fire department helped me out tremendously. I respected what you guys did a lot. So much so that I had to get into prehospital and emergency medicine myself. I couldn't have made a better decision.
