About Me:
Am now Medical Officer in town and quality control Officer at Fortune Bay.
Unfortunetly I have to quit all of it, I have a slipped disc at the L5-S1 and the cortisone shots have not helped. Looks like I may need surgery. ;(( I had to quit doing Fire/EMS because of back problems. I can't lift much and have severe pain and taking some pretty strong narcotics for it. I didn't wish to be a medical on a medical or fire.
Day Job:
Slot Attendant
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I achieved my first aid merit badge in Boy Scouts and have had fist aid training to some degree at work. When I started as Security Officer in 8/2001 at the local casino I was asked if I wanted to be a First Responder, said sure. evetually became an EMT-B. Am now with Fire Department in town now too. Now have to quit it all, have a slipped disc in lower back, something I hate doing, but I guess it happens when get older.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the adrenalin rush, and knowing that I have done my part in the community
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Getting more volunteers with the right atitude and wanting to help the community. We for one could use more First Responders. We are only First Responders in town here as we do not have ambulance service, it comes from the next town.

Nice Rig..... Nothing like a 39, Mine has 3800 orig. miles on it. Bought it from our city 7 years ago. Runs like a top, love to go to all local parades with it. Stay safe out there, from southern Minesota, Shane
