- I have been a police officer involved in all aspects of public service for almost twenty years. I became certified as an EMT while attending college.

- I like the challenges and the rewards. Working in emergency services gives you the opportunity to interact with people many times when they need the help of others the most. Every day is unique and the challenges can be rewarding.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- From an emergency management standpoint, I believe some two of the largest issues facing responders is the lack of funds and inability to obtain the proper equipment to do their jobs safely and effectively. This issue affects both municipal and county departments in all jurisdictions and it is always a constant battle on the administrative level to obtain adequate materials and financial support to keep these departments running effectively.
