Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I got into Fire/EMS in order to help others in their time of need. In addition, the commrodity was a big draw as well as the opportunities that exist to test myself mentally and physically as well as continue to expand my knowledge and sharpen/add to my skill set in order to provide all I can to the public we serve as well as those that work by my side.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: The feeling of a job well done; being called upon to help any time when needed.
Top Issues Facing Responders:: Budget cuts, hiring inadequacies, short staffing which directly can endanger FFs.
