I have been in the fire service since the age of 18 and Love it. I worked my way up the ladder and now I am the Chief. I love to explore the diff. methods of firefighting. I am a firm believer of CAFS systems for every fire.

Top Issues Facing Responders:
In Ohio its the new Continuing Education bill. Its crap. Volunteers are gonna drop out because they dont have the time for family,work and the Department.Ive already have members unable to attend functions etc. and are stating they will have to leave the Dept. I feel the need for cont. ed. but its gonna hurt us (volunteers) in the long run. 18 hrs. doesnt seem like alot, but it is when you have a family, job etc.
