About Me:: I became a firefighter first. After 2 yrs i became a first responder then an EMT. I have a natural drive for emergency service this is what i love. if there is a course online or in a class you can bet i will be there.
Day Job:: self employed--greenhouse and farming retail and wholesale ,landscaping and excavating.
Why I Joined Fire/EMS: realized there is an overwhelming need for a special kind of people out there and that i had what it takes to serve my community, in a way that i considered to be the most important way.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: knowing i can make a difference and saving lives.
Top Issues Facing Responders:: many people feel this job weather paid or volunteer is too dangerous. there fore there is a major need for emergency service personel. also alittle more funding for volunteer companies wouldn't hurt!
