Married with three boys. I have been in the fire service since 1985, I was hired at Crawfordsville, Indiana (Local 4143) in March of 1987. Still in love with the job. Love Notre Dame football and the Boston Red Sox.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Father was a Volunteer Firefighter, Great Uncle was a Career Firefighter in Ohio and the T.V. show Emergency.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Something diffrent everyday, the challenge of a good job.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Staffing is one of the main issues with the modern fire service. Of course lack of money is tied into this problem.

Also new light weight construction is a danger to us all. Along with the need of having good Firefighter survival programs across the board.
